Space and Place

With this project we are building on the many successes of the Trading Places/CR.E.A.T.E project. Artist Ann Henderson will work again in Ballydown to collaborate with teachers an children to explore the theme of 'space and place' through real and remote communication.

This programme is complementing the revised curriculum, which is comprised of six-week long blocks of learning. Each block will have a distinct theme. The artist is feeding directly into the school's way of working, while maintaining her own creative process from her studio.

Ann will be working from her home on Rathlin Island; working with four teachers in Ballydown PS over the course of one school year. The participants will meet face-to-face twice in each six-week block and; and online via video conferencing and this website every Wednesday during the after school's club. They will be using software developed for online collaboration by Marratech as part of a C2K pilot programme.
