We experimented with our ice cube drawings one step further.
This time P4/P5 were asked to select a range of materials which would dissolve to various degrees or remain insoluble. We couldn't wait to see what happened during the melting process - how far the melting ice would carry and deposit, like a glacier, the various materials.
These materials ranged from, food colourings to hot chocolate, dried herbs to sugar, cocoa powder to stone.
Our whiteboard communications show the amazing results.
