I am unique - Week 2

Once the clay models had dried the children discussed with Ann how best to paint them. We decided that a base coat was needed before the top coat. This base coat would probably be a lighter colour than the finished coat would be. Once again the children were using their mixing skills to achieve the colours needed.

Myself

Our group decide to add a new item to our list each time - it took us ages to read our poem!!

We all play instruments.
We all play instruments and are children.
We all play instruments, are children and go to the same school.
We all play instruments, are children, go to the same school and wear the same uniform.
We all play instruments, are children, go to the same school, wear the same uniform and like sports.
We all play instruments, are children, go to the same school, wear the same uniform, like sports and enjoy playing the DS.

Myself

What kind of a poem can you create in 5 minutes?
Can you write about things you have in common?
Make list of 5 key words, things you have in common and try to use them.

It doesn't matter!

It doesn't matter what you do,
We have lots in common too.
We like sweets, games and blue
Sports and pets,
Even Mrs Wilson too!!

What we have in common

We all go to the same school.
We are all wearing a school uniform.
We all have the same teachers.
We all like Mrs Wilson's chocolate cake, yum, yum, yum.
We all like our artist, she is cool.
We all love doing our art project.

MySelf

Blonde, black, brown and grey,
Some people's hair colour show their way.
Black or white, it doesn't matter
What people's face colour you see in your sight.
Some people are fat and some are thin.
It's all about what your heart is like within.
People are different in their own special way,
We are unique.
